Contribute FeedbackFugu Madison offers decent food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Some menu items have increased in price, while others may be too spicy for some diners. The presentation of the dishes is impressive, but the flavors may fall short for some. The staff is exceptionally polite and accommodating. While some recommend the restaurant for its delicious options like twice-cooked pork, others appreciate the value and quality of the dishes offered. Keep in mind that the restaurant does not serve Fugu despite its name, focusing more on a fusion of traditional American cuisine. Overall, Fugu Madison provides a pleasant dining experience in Madison.
I have had multiple pleasent experiences here. The staff is one of the nicest on state street and the food is on par with their service. The prices are cheap for the quantity and quality they offer. I can't speak from an authenticity POV but the food tastes excellent.Food: 5/5
Im disappointed to say that they have double charged me for a dish. The dish was $10 out of a $140 bill $130 w/o the double charge). Otherwise, the food was decent and wrapped up a great night with friends after the January symphony at the overture.
Our fav chinese place, food is fresh and yummy. Our regular choices are the eggplants, green beans and hazelnut shrimps. Staffs are friendly.Food: 5/5
The food in general is good. The price for each dish went up a lot.We had a spoiled tofu dish, which seems to be a rare situation. I've ate there for years. Now they charge a 15% gratuity for each table regardless of the number of guests. Keep an eye on it and do not over pay out of your own desires.
Staffs are very polite and helpful with everything. It was first time at Fugu Madison. Most of the food are spicy. We don’t like spicy so we don’t have that much option. To be honest, presentation was really good but taste wasn’t. Maybe It’s not for me but taste is nothing like no seasoning or sauce.
