Located in Madison, Brocach offers a variety of beer and cocktails in a great ambiance. While some diners were not impressed with the food, particularly the dry shepherd's pie and burnt Scotch Egg, they praised the excellent service and unique drinks like the pineapple infused vodka. Despite some mishaps like forgetting to inform diners about salmon being served medium rare and running out of donuts for dessert, others enjoyed their meals, with one diner describing it as the best steak they ever had. The attentive waitstaff and tasty food like the curry cole slaw and all you can eat fish and chips left a positive impression on many customers.

Was Linnie McGlynn at Brocach Irish Pub a mag?
Best steak I've ever had! The sauce, mushrooms and mashed potatoes are all complements of the best steak ever. I went to put Ruth's Chris in February and that was really good but this is my favorite place to go for steak in Madison. View all feedback.

What Jermain Ferry dislikes about Brocach Irish Pub:
The drinks and ambiance were great, but I was not impressed with the food. The Scotch Egg was terrible- not much sausage on it and it was burnt. I sent it back. The shepherd's pie was dry. My husband had the Reuben and said he's had better. However, the service was excellent and they had a great variety of beer and cocktails. Try the pineapple infused vodka!! View all feedback.

Early Saturday night. the waitress did not know the beer very well and never brought the desired water. the salmon. the waitress has forgotten to tell us it is served in a rare medium. So it went back to be done. when it came back, the sweetness was grown cold on the dish. it is not worth correcting the annoying. the fish frit was so. fish was not seasoned at all and the teig had no taste. we wanted to order the donuts for dessert, but they were out. they were out? we paid the bill and were super disappointed. unwanted waitress, lame eating, incomplete menu. would not return.

We took lunch break in mid-December. I don't know much about Irish eating, but thought it could be fun to try some Irish brews. the decoration was interesting. looted on one side of a table and wooden chairs on the other side. or wooden benches on one side of a table and plough chairs on the other side. everything seemed somewhat dark and heavy with many red. our waitress was attentive and fast. I ordered a couple of beers from the beer list, unfortunately they were both no longer. our waitress recommended a substitution. it was good, but not Irish. I tried the poutins for lunch. it came with thick cut pommes, cheese curds and shepherds Pie filling. the pommes were...read more

Meh. I visited brocach last Sunday at 1 o'clock, I had visited brocach at past places for drinks, but that was my first time to eat there. three of us ordered the club sandwich. big mistake. it looked like we could have been home with hardly one speck, and all our pommes were limp and cold. If they charge $10 for a club sandwich, it is better good. will not return.
