My mom and I came here for dinner and had a great experience! We stared at the bar to have a drink before our reservation and I appreciated that many of their signature cocktails could be made into N.A. options. The host that seated us and our server Sam were both wonderful! We tried several appetizers as well as a pasta dish and everything was so delicious. We will definitely be back to eat our way through the menu. View all feedback.
What Foodie doesn't like about Amara:
Our experience sitting at the bar was excellent. The woman bartender really knew her stuff. The food came out quickly. We were serviced well. It all changed when we went to dine. The service person was very tentative in his demeanor and you could hardly hear him and it’s not because the place was too noisy. It was just him. He didn’t know the menu well. Restaurant week so very busy, but did not feel at all rushed. Very accommodating to get 8 of us together at the same time when they were so busy. Food was excellent. Shared plates with plenty of food.
Service great except that entrees did not come at the same time. Not to fault of the servers. Kitchen problem Noise level too high. Otherwise very enjoyable. Food excellent

Restaurant week so folks were definitely a bit frazzled. The sea bass was excellent, but the lasagna definitely left something to be desired.
Space looks great, very appealing. personal bright and friendly. eat a substantial step upwards. wein time, but beer slowly.
