What Cary Hansen doesn't like about A La Brasa:
Wtf? We waited from noon to (in an empty restaurant) for our food to show up, and when our server finally reappeared, it turns out they hadn't even started cooking it yet. We'd already paid and my husband insisted on waiting. When our food came it was room temp and tasteless. This place is empty for a reason View all feedback. What Robert Hull likes about A La Brasa:
Just had lunch at A La Brasa I was greeted as I came in the door and was seated right away. Very friendly folks I ordered the Taco dinner from the menu you get 2 tacos with rice and beans with your choice of filling I picked the asada and the shredded beef. While waiting for my meal I enjoyed some very good chips and salsa which had a little snap to it and was excellent. My meal came very quickly and was nice and hot... View all feedback.

Some diners have found the food to be underwhelming and lacking in flavor, with issues such as room temperature chicken empanadas and underseasoned meats. Others, however, have raved about the delicious burritos, tacos, and enchiladas, noting the authentic flavors and generous portions. Service also received mixed reviews, with some praising the friendly staff and quick service, while others found room for improvement. The overall vibe of the restaurant has been described as cozy and budget-friendly, making it a solid choice for a casual meal.
Nice shaded outdoor seating and delicious Mexican food. Server spoke very broken English but was so good natured. 2nd location opening on Bassett Street soon.

Food was good, but a little cool. This is a tiny establishment, and they do their best to maximize space. Very friendly staff.
