Taco Tienda Mexicana - Madison Heights

A lot to do on a Friday night! The menu is really straight and I found the staff helpful and patient. I think I have these three tacos and some grilled onions (about one dollar highly recommended! on the side for about $10-11. Comes with a red hot sauce (spicy!!!) and a creamy green sauce. The waiting time was about 15 minutes. No complaints, solid tacos and will be back!

A real hidden jewel! This place is half a Mexican convenience store, half a restaurant. Whenever I go, I always keep in the store and find a new candy or something I didn't try before. As far as food is concerned, it is absolutely amazing. I'm not particularly a fan of Mexican cuisine, but this place is totally stellar. So authentic and fresh. The shrimp tacos, elephants, pig tacos and chips and salsa are dying. With prizes you would pay for the damn Taco Bell! Give a little business a shot and get a real meal! P.S service is always great. Staff are so friendly.

This is probably one of the best Mexican restaurants we have ever been to. We just moved to the area and are trying to nail down our go-to places. My friends recommended this place and the extremely high reviews drew us in. The authentic food was hands-down the best tasting Mexican food we've ever had, not to mention the great prices. The staff were extremely friendly and very attentive and the fact it's part of a small store is even better. It seems to be family owned and operated which is obvious by how much the staff truly seemed to care about the patrons and the service provided. We were in and out quickly and will now be frequenting this establishment and recommending it to all our friends and family.

Great tacos and Mexican food. Probably one of the most authentic tacos you can get in the area. Always super nice and fast service. There’s a good selection of items and they will even accommodate vegan items, like the veggie burrito. The store is super convenient too and we grab things like empanada dough or snacks on the way.

Love this place. We had shrimp tacos and tilapia tacos. Both were very good. Also ordered half shrimp quesadilla without cheese. Liked that one too. They have small store attached with. Overall, a good place to try.
