The country-fried steak was delicious... read more We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at this restaurant. The catfish, both grilled and fried, was perfectly seasoned and cooked. The country-fried steak was delicious, and the hushpuppies were savory rather than sweet. The fried okra and corn nuggets were also quite good. For dessert, the peach cobbler was served warm with a scoop of ice cream! The only disappointment was the mac and cheese, which was a bit watery and bland. The cafe is charmingly decorated with vintage photos of oil fields and painted hard hats. Each table features salt and pepper shakers shaped like oil pumps. The women's restroom was very clean and adorably decorated for spring. The service was excellent as well. We will definitely return! Give it a try—you won’t be disappointed!
