Pastry Palace - Madgaon

Forget about the expensive and fake European bakeries in touristy places in Goa! Find yourself the closest Pastry Palace and satisfy that sweet craving being far away from home. Wonderful chocolate cakes, muffins and lava cakes. Though we only had the salty croissants with Indian style fillings, we were very impressed with the flakiness and flavor of the croissant dough. The red velvet series was also quite good.

It was a surprise to find the kind of tortes and cakes you'd see in a Viennese coffee house in the middle of Goa. Darn tasty, too.

Decent cakes.. Ok savouries.. Prawn puff are good... Rest all' is decent .. Nothing took write about.. Service is decent.. Not v expensive.. But quality is also not as good. As how it should be

The cake was good. The prawn puffs were tasty. Everything else was just decent. There wasn't anything standout. The service was satisfactory and the prices were reasonable. However, the quality of the food was not as good as it should be.

If you're a fan of chocolate like we are, be sure to try Choco Forest. We stopped in for a quick bite and found the prices to be quite reasonable. Other menu items worth trying are the spinach sandwich and the veg schezwan puff.
