The establishment is impeccably clean, with friendly staff and fresh food, and everything is brand new. It's a delightful place, and uniquely among restaurants in Madelia Township, it is open on Mondays. The parking lot is a bit small and tight, so be cautious while parking, especially during busy hours. The compact lot existed before Subway opened, so the limited space isn’t their fault. As local visitors, we appreciate this new spot, having already dined there twice in its first week. We don't know the owners or staff, which allows us to provide an unbiased review free from small-town prejudices that can distort perceptions of hospitality. To clarify, the workers at this new Subway are very hospitable, and we have experienced a refreshing atmosphere here. I would also like to mention wheelchair accessibility: there are designated seating areas, user-friendly doorways, plenty of space between tables, and a spacious unisex restroom. One suggestion I have is to consider a privacy door, wall, or divider on one side of the bathroom entrance. This would help keep the restroom area from being visible from the dining area and create a clearer separation between dining and restroom spaces. While there has been no issue with odors wafting into the dining area during our visits, I hope there is an industrial fan in the restroom to keep any odors discreet. Overall, we may be overthinking the design aspects, but aside from that concern, we rate this new establishment a solid 5 stars. Thanks for the great experience, and keep up the good work!

I’ve eaten at many Subways, but I have to say that the one in Madelia is the worst I’ve experienced. The sandwiches aren’t toasted long enough, and there isn’t enough meat on them. The veggies are minimal—on my 12-inch sub, I only got 3 green peppers, 5 black olives, and very little lettuce, plus way too much oil and salt. Overall, I really do not recommend the Madelia Subway, so I would think twice before going there. Meal type: Dinner

Food was good, but Robert was too hung up on what type of bread we wanted. He wouldn't make the sandwiches for the other 3 in the group, without knowing the 4th person's bread...It was kind of weird.
