Gulf Bistro is a very nice and inexpensive French restaurant. If you happen to be in Madeira Redington Treasure Island Indian Rocks Beach, you should visit this treasure of a restaurant. Our feast, (we both had the veal speciality) with a bottle of wine and dessert and tax came to just $100.00. I think we'll always return to this place when we visit the area. Until 4 September 2017. The union soup is a killer! I like it so much! The taste is delicate and harmonious. I like the dessert creme brulee flambe grand marnier (yes that one with flame). It's wonderfully delicious and broadened my intuition/specturm about desserts. Nice atmosphere for a couple night. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
Just an incredible, delicious meal with excellent service. We were walk-ins and were lucky to get a table on a Thursday night but they were very accommodating and had us seated within 5 minutes. We enjoyed the 4-course dinner special. I had the lobster bisque, lobster penne and creme brulee. My husband enjoyed the onion soup, pork tenderloin and caramel ice cream. We also enjoyed a bottle of Beaujolais, always a rare find. What a treat for vacation and if we are ever back in the area, we will definitely return.
This hidden gem of a restaurant offers a truly spectacular five-star dining experience. The selection of mouthwatering seafood dishes is unparalleled. My daughter, a former chef at the Maratana Grill at the Don Cesar Hotel, joined us and thoroughly enjoyed her shrimp and scallops combination. We also loved our lobster appetizer. The halibut was absolutely divine. The wine list, featuring an excellent selection of French wines, was impressive as well. To top it all off, the chef personally visited our table to receive the well-deserved praise.
