I had the pleasure of dining at Ristorante Flizzi in Staffa during a visit to Macugnaga and was absolutely thrilled. Perfectly located right in the main square, the restaurant welcomes you with a warm and traditional atmosphere, yet with a refined and thoughtful touch that makes every meal special. Excellent Cuisine The dishes combine Alpine tradition with creativity and meticulous presentation. From traditional dishes like polenta with ragù and pink gnocchi to flavorful and well-balanced main courses, each course is bursting with flavor and made with quality ingredients. The wine selection is extensive and carefully chosen to complement the meal. ‍ Friendly and Professional Staff The staff is extremely courteous, attentive, and available to recommend dishes and wines. Their hospitality makes guests feel truly at home, without compromising on professionalism and expertise.  Excellent value for money Considering the quality of the ingredients, the care taken in preparation, and the impeccable service, every euro spent is worth it. It's an ideal place for both a romantic dinner and a lunch after a mountain hike.  Highly recommended! A welcoming atmosphere, delicious dishes, and a staff that makes all the difference: a memorable dining experience. Definitely one of the best restaurants to try in Italy.

The dishes were truly meticulously prepared, including a special Val d'Ossola cured meats appetizer with two truly exceptional cheeses, delicious polenta concia, and a veal round with tuna sauce and delicious capers—truly superb. The house Val d'Ossola wine was also excellent, and to finish, the Catalan cream with figs and a truly special hazelnut and zabaglione cake!
