The service took forever and the waiter was completely rude! My brother got a stake and it was completely raw and smelled like cat food.
Great place... The food and staff was amazing. Will be going back for the meat and seafood buffet
Been in Wanaque since 99, but never ventured up into this area. When we arrived, the owner (Judy took us through all of the possibilities, order off of menu, or go for the full seafood buffet (34.95 which includes unlimiited King Crab legs. Of course, that 's what we opted for. The buffet starters were soups (Lobster Bisque, Clam Chowder, or Lentil, and an extensive salad area. We went right for the fish. Clams (steamed or on the half shell, or stuffed ...all fresjh and delicious. Shrimp, (good sized, cocktail or fried which was great. The King Crab was better and larger than your Eat At Joe 's variety. There was plenty of excellent meat choices: Swedish Meatballs, Hungarian Goulash, and a Prime Rib station. The prime rib has a terrific crust, and was offered rare, medium, or well. The drinks were large and on point. The dessert offering were extensive, many different fresh baked pies (the pecan was top notch , eclairs, cakes of all kinds. The only downside was they were short on floor help, so you had to wait for your waiter...no big whoop. Judy 's kindness made us feel like we were important guests eating in her home. We will definitely return.
