Sauced - Macon

The pizza was very delicious with a perfect layer of sauce, cheese and toppings and the teig was perfect as ny style. I also appreciate that he was sauce not sweet it had some tomato sturdy as it should be. I called my order as they were ready to close and they took it up what was a good thing when I was in the mood for pizza

Great atmosphere and eat. their NY-style cakes are freshly made with high-quality ingredients. great garlic. good bottle selection. great lunches like their discs are huge. it is conveniently located in the city of macon in the mercer village. we are going often!

The service is great, the food is good, and the prices are competitive. A super easy joint to relax on lunch break. The only fall is that the staff do not wear gloves when preparing the salad. Respectfully, I get that it’s definitely a more hipster, earthy atmosphere— however, the possibility off cross contamination and germs is pretty high in my book. If they’d wear gloves, I’d have all 5 stars.

Got there at 7:00 waited an hour and 15 minutes for our food to get done, when we got the food it was burnt so we went back up there to get a new one made the lady at the register was unprofessional and had an attitude. So we waited another 30- 40 minutes for the new pizzas, got the pizzas and one of them was still burnt. I did not want to wait another 40 minutes for another pizza so we left. I usually never have this problem at all when I go to sauced that’s why i gave it a 1 star, so it was extremely disappointing. As well she didn’t even offer any sort of accommodation for the 2 hour wait.

One of my favorite places to eat pizza in macon and it is close to the mercer university makes it a great place to meet with faculty, personal and students. the lunch special with slices pizza (which is huge and easy two slices is everywhere else) is an salat and a drink for about $7 hard to beat. it is not too loud and when they sit in the big stands, they can conduct good talks.
