What User doesn't like about Oliver's Corner Bistro:
Didn’t feel good after eating here. I enjoyed the butternut squash and sage soup…but the pesto chicken pasta did me in. I couldn’t even finish it. Not only were there bacon chunks but it tasted like bacon grease. Pesto pasta is supposed to taste like fresh pesto. It literally tasted like fat and I ended up not feeling well. Our service was also rare to be seen and had a dreary energy. View all feedback.
Very recommended! Had a dinner reservation for Mother?s day. Our table was ready on our arrival and it was elegantly decorated. We were satisfied and impressed by our server (can not remember his name, but he was a ginger). Everything we ordered was delicious. I personally recommend her zeasarsalat, NY strip and chocolate cake. The restaurant is located in downtown Macon at the corner 2nd and Poplar. I look forward to my next culinary experience here.
Visiting Macon for work what a cute downtown! Oliver?s Corner Bistro is a great addition. Outside seating for those from the north is a must. Wait staff are very helpful and the food is wonderful!
I was very pleased with both my meal and drinks. I sat at the bar on a Thursday evening and it was not crowded at all. A very cozy and intimate dinner spot right in the middle of downtown Macon. I love risotto so I tired the Risotto and broccoli with a salmon filet. Perfect portion size, very filling. I was pleased with the menu options and I will definitely be back to try more options. The bartender made me the most delicious Sangrini, also tried the Pear Martini, which was equally delicious.
Absolutely can't miss this place! Only thing better than the food is the customer service. Kaitlyn our server was excellent and on point. The brunch menu is fantastic.
