On my way to work, I decided to stop by and give this place a try, and I'm so glad I did! The breakfast sandwich with bacon, egg, and cheese melted in my mouth! The bacon was thick and flavorful, and at $4.14, the price for the sandwich is very reasonable! I will definitely be returning! What User doesn't like about Nu-way Weiners:
The staff was super friendly but that was about the only positive. Husband enjoyed his food but I did not. It just wasn't my thing I guess. The chili is very finely ground and looks off putting and does not really have a flavor to it. The slaw has good flavor but is also pulverized so it's almost just liquid. Nu way on Northside drive has by far the best restaurant in the south!
Ghetto and lazy! The employees will literally sit near the window on their phone and watch you until you drive away because they don’t feel like taking or making orders. Whom ever the employees were that worked the evening schedule on 4/19/24 needs to be fired due to poor customer service and disgusting attitudes.

I first ate at this Nu-Way location on Northside over 30 years ago. It's easy to overlook this Nu-Way, but this location has been there for over 35 years. This particular location is one of the few Nu-Way's where I actually eat inside. Normally, I prefer the drive-thru, but the cars can quickly create a long line. I enjoy the slaw dogs and hot dogs all the way.
