What User doesn't like about Memaw's At Lg's:
I am very disappointed about memaws today, I buy 3 teller eat and mixed in my meat leaf with my collar green was a soaked brown paper cloth, initially I thought it was a long sheet collar, but when I went to bite it, it was surely a brown paper cloth. I don't know if I can eat here again. very dissatisfied because I love this place. there is no mistake of having a paper cloth in her eating. really not editable. View all feedback.
The customer service at this restaurant is much better than the food. The food is overly hyped and not worth the $30+ dollars for two people to eat there.
Everything is excellent at Memaw's, but the buttermilk pie is a standout dish that will make you want to slap your mother. The staff is friendly and the restaurant is clean. While there may be a short wait for the food, it is well worth it. Fast forward to 2022, and Memaw's is still one of the top soul food restaurants in Macon, Georgia without a doubt. The food is always delicious, fresh, hot, and consistent. If anyone claims otherwise, they are simply lying. The buttermilk pie is unmatched, and the food is seasoned so well that no additional additives are necessary.

I had an amazing experience at Memaw's! They offered window service during COVID and the staff was extremely friendly, making sure we had everything we needed. The food was delicious - I had a pork chop dinner with collard greens and Mac n cheese, while my companion had oxtail with turnips and field peas. We took our meal to go and enjoyed it at Freedom Park just a few minutes down the road. Everything was seasoned perfectly and incredibly juicy and moist. The collard greens were a hit once I added some hot sauce, and the Mac n cheese was fantastic. The meal also came with tasty cornbread. We decided to indulge in dessert as well, opting for banana pudding and sweet potato pie. The banana pudding was classic, but the sweet potato pie was exceptional! We also enjoyed some authentic southern sweet tea. We will definitely be returning when we visit Macon again.
