Description
Once celebrated for its vibrant atmosphere and delectable dishes, this local pub recently drew mixed reviews from patrons. While some diners enjoyed delightful meals made with fresh ingredients and appreciated the welcoming environment—complete with pet-friendly options—others left underwhelmed. Reports surfaced of overcooked seafood, disappointing portions, and unresponsive staff, leading to frustration among hungry guests. The service quality varied significantly, with some experiencing lengthy delays and inadequate communication. While there are glimpses of culinary excellence, consistent performance and attentive service seem crucial for this establishment to regain its former glory and trust among loyal customers.

This used to be a fantastic pub with delicious food, but I was really disappointed during my visit tonight. I ordered the $28 fisherman’s plate with fresh seafood, but it was overcooked and tasted as if the seafood had come from Ayers Rock—not fresh at all. The portion was so small that I left feeling just as hungry, if not hungrier, than when I arrived. I won't be spending my money there again.
I was thoroughly impressed with this stunning pub. The meals were exquisite, made with fresh ingredients and reasonably priced, just like the drinks. Plus, it's pet-friendly! We were so grateful to have the opportunity to bring our furry friend along and enjoy a meal in the beer garden.
First pub I have ever been to in my life, Fantastic Food, love the clarence chicken, wonderful staff. Publicans Bob and Deb so accommodating to any function you would like to have. Love the Jam sessions held every 3rd Sunday of the month, with the Ford Brothers.
