Our son didn't use his voucher because he had to be at the pool very early for a swim meet. We ended up going to LVS for lunch because he wanted Chinese food. They let us use his breakfast voucher for $6 off our total bill. The 3 of us shared the seafood tofu hotpot, beef fried rice and sautéed mixed vegetables. Everything was made fresh so it took a little while for the food to all arrive but it was worth it and we were able to finish eating before our son had to be back at the pool. Our favourite was the seafood tofu hotpot that was brought to us sizzling on a cast iron hot plate. It was very authentic tasting and flavourful. There are also many options on their menu that sound quite good. (See photos of menu) The prices were reasonable considering there are not many option for dining in MacKenzie and the cost to get the ingredients in this northern town. The portions were very generous so we had enough leftovers to take back to the hotel for at least another meal for 1 more person. As for the ambience, we came here to have a good meal not for a romantic dinner so we were completely satisfied. The server was so friendly and cheerful we couldn't ask for anything more.

We dined here for both lunch and dinner multiple times, and there was a generous amount of food available, particularly for takeout. Breakfast was included as part of our hotel stay, but we were not impressed. The breakfast options were limited to basic Continental style fare, with stale muffins and only one type of cereal available. The juice and milk were not chilled, so they were served at room temperature. While not our top pick, the limited breakfast options in Mackenzie leave few alternatives.
