After 5 years of living without that microwaved suburban restaurant experience, my family decided that it was time to renew our passports, and let me tell you, the moment of gluttony was everything we missed. But five minutes after we left, my youngest daughter fell victim, with a shy tug at my shirt sleeve, she reluctantly said I have to go to the bathroom with a look in her eye that told me a brown Niagra Falls was ferociously navigating its way through her intestines. I fell next, having escorted my darling to the restroom, I thought quick relief awaited, but alas, I fell victim to the BX 's antics with one toilet being cleaned, the other under construction, and the last a one stall wonder, had me squeezing tighter than a Richard Simmons video. My wife was the last to fall having made it the five hour drive home before realizing her immunity was nothing more than short term luck. In the end, we all remembered, or in the case of my youngest learned why we don 't do this anymore. At least O can say the service was nice.
If you come here to eat ask for Marcello. Amazing service and food. He was very attentive and had such a bubbly personality. We enjoyed our experience here and will definitely be back!
Let me start off by saying, I don’t generally like giving bad reviews. Every single time we’ve come to this Chili’s, someone ends up getting sick. We have never had a good experience here—the service isn’t great, the food always makes us feel bloated and sick, but yesterday was the worst visit we’ve had. My husband and I ordered a triple dipper as our meal and the big mouth burger bites were rancid. I mean the most foul tasting meat I have ever smelled and tasted in my LIFE. My sister and brother in law smelled the burgers and gagged immediately, both of their eyes watered and they both almost vomited at the table. It was the most RANCID smelling meat. It was sour, pungent, and absolutely disgusting. The texture was like a wet sponge, and I can’t even describe the taste. It smelled rotten. It tasted rotten. My husband noticed the taste but was so hungry that he ate them anyway. Twenty minutes go by and then he’s projectile vomiting in their bathroom. I’ve never seen him do that or react to food like that. I brought it up to our waitress and she said “I don’t have a sense of smell” and just took the plates back. Our waitress took off one meal but said the kitchen staff and herself didn’t notice anything suspicious about the meat—which, I’m sorry, is absolutely bullshit. That meat was rancid and foul smelling and if you got within three inches of the meat, you could smell that something was coming OFF. It had to have been expired or contaminated, there’s just no way. Had a very awkward exchange with the waitress afterward, wasn’t given to-go boxes or to-go drinks like we asked and we just walked out. I don’t think we’ll be returning after this.
Over multiple years I've had to change my rating several times, but I'm done and given up on this Chili's. No amount of remodeling or improving food quality can make up for crap service. Seriously, the bar section is a wreck. It takes forever to get a drink or have food ordered. The excuse isn't that they're busy when the bartender (the male in particular) has *plenty* of time to talk with other staff members or intently ignore customers. For any interested on better alternatives, Heroes and Macaroni Grill haven't let me down once yet.
