The temperature in the restaurant was very cold, even with our jackets on we were still freezing. We ordered buffalo wings for an appetizer, which were supposed to be made with Franks Hot Sauce. However, the sauce was brown and sticky, not the red and spicy sauce we were expecting. My partner ordered the garden salad, which was supposed to have mixed greens, tomatoes, peppers, Spanish onions, and pine nuts. Instead, the salad only had greens, tomatoes, peppers, and cucumber (which she is allergic to). It seemed more like a side salad for a steak. After pointing this out, the restaurant did replace it with the correct ingredients. My steak was supposed to come with broccolini, carrots, and snap peas, but it was missing the snap peas. The vegetables I did receive were undercooked and cold. Despite these issues, the steak was still enjoyable as was the wine.

I was unable to place my order through the app. It was unclear whether the restaurant offered table service or if I needed to wait in line to order. If you choose the fish main dish, you may want to stop by McDonald's on your way home.

The breakfast buffet offered a goo... read more I enjoyed breakfast at this restaurant for two mornings during my stay at the hotel, as well as a light snack in the evening. The breakfast buffet offered a good variety of hot and continental items. The coffee, not from a machine, was excellent. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly.

This is an excellent bar and restaurant located just a few meters from the Mackay airport terminal. They have screens that display boarding and arrival information, which is a nice touch. The food is not only delicious but also beautifully presented. The staff is courteous and polite, making for a pleasant dining experience. Prices are quite reasonable, too. A nice bonus: if you park in the Turbulence Tavern parking lot and show your receipt at reception, your parking is free.
