We are on the way to Cairns. Pulled in last night for a break. Rebooked again this morning for another night due to flooding on highway. Reception and cleaners could not be any more helpful and friendly. Bent over backwards to accommodate us, even though we had to change rooms they got it sorted very quick and it was a quick change over. Rooms very clean and comfortable. Location is perfectly central to everything we need. Will definitely be back and highly recommend anyone to stay here.
Wow! The owners/current management team here at the Mackay Resort Motel have a professionalism that is very hard to find these days. The care pride taken in what is on offer here ...will not be found anywhere else! If you are lucky enough to stop in Mackay, this is exactly where you should be planning on staying. The beds are indeed incredibly comfortable In house restaurant with friendly room service delivered very quickly! Clean, quiet, safe and welcoming. Hygienic Guest laundry facilities made this stay even easier! Thank you very much for making the stay here in Mackay home away from home . This customer will be back for sure!
