I think is not fair to compare, but the price of the croissant and pain au chocolet is way too much. Only in one place in Rockford I found for the same price a really good quality for these products. Again, here is not common, but in Europe it is a common part of our breakfast, it can find anywhere. So quality I mean... Texture... How it break when you beat, smell and taste) cannot be compared. What Tim Smallwood doesn't like about Panera Bread:
Ordered 2 loaves of bread for takeout.Stood there for 20 minutes waiting before asking where is my order.” Oh, sorry, we’ll get it now”Didn’t think it was as funny as your workers didWon’t be back View all feedback.
Really disappointed with the service and bread was super hard. Too expensive so don't come here again under these circumstances.
This place used to be amazing but recently it 's gone way downhill. They discontinued their mayonnaise, chocolate chip bagels, mocha frappes... so many things that were a staple are now gone! The sandwiches we ordered were extremely dry and scraped our gums and tasted meh okay at best. The girl taking our order laughed at our surprise that everything we tried to order had been discontinued and didnt care how we felt or that being laughed at is embarrassing. We understand that menus change, but how does a sandwich shop not have the most basic ingredient of mayonnaise? The chocolate chip bagels have been there since day 1. Change can be wonderful, but why take away the staples that people know they can rely on you for? Sadly, this is likely our last time visiting. Just far too expensive for what they now have to offer.
I meet my friends here once a month! I live the Ceaser salad and French onion soup

It brought to my attention that I did not smell anything, any characteristics bakery smell when product are fresh made side apart to make them to loose some temperature). I think... The breakfast that other people was taking like bread with eggs or ham ...etc.... Looks like good, and the bread was toasted... Next time I would try those.
