Happy Wok - Machesney Park

I’m confused as to why their sign says they open at 10:30 AM. I arrived just ten minutes after opening, only to be told that I couldn't place my order and that I should "come back later." I'm on my lunch break, and your sign indicates you’re open. This is really disappointing customer service.

The food was overcooked, and I received the wrong sauce for my dish. I likely won't return.

I truly love this restaurant! The staff is friendly, I've reliably enjoyed my meals, and the prices are very fair considering the large portion sizes.

Everything here is refreshingly simple—there's nothing overly elaborate. Just superbly seasoned dishes, well-crafted meals (the charred chicken is exceptional), and fresh ingredients.

I placed a pick-up order and didn’t receive everything I ordered. When I got home and noticed the missing items, I called to request delivery of the food they forgot. During our conversation, they acknowledged that they had indeed missed a dinner item. However, they refused to deliver it, insisting that I had to return in person to rectify their mistake. I believe this is a poor business decision. I’m really disappointed.
