What tashc dislikes about Tempranillo:
Came on Saturday night with a friend, the food was good (it has been better before) the service was a bit odd, it wasn't mega busy but all the waitresses seem extremely rushed off their feet and it took longer than necessary to get drinks. We ordered sparkling water and it came in the glass rather than bottle, and we were then charge £2.50 for it. We were sat near the door to the kitchen downstairs with the smell of... Lovely restaurant, good food and wine, and friendly staff. Especially loved the chorizo in cider! Will definitely be back!
If this is the best tapas in Macc, I can't imagine what the worst would be like. The dishes were served individually, with the 'salad' first, followed by croquettes, then patatas bravas, and finally Albonigas after a slow 15-minute wait. It would have been better to have multiple dishes at once, rather than eating them separately. The 'salad' was more like salsa, with tiny bits of tomato, onion, and cucumber, lacking in olive and dressing. One of the potatoes was bad/black, and the meatballs were humongous on a plate. Having eaten in Spain frequently, this restaurant did not compare favorably. Additionally, the prices on the website are likely outdated. Overall, not a place I would visit again.
Best tapas we’ve ever had, awesome. Popped in here on a recommendation from another shop owner in Macclesfield turns out the best tapas
My daughter and I had a fantastic night here catching up with cousins, it was the best. The management are superb. I'll be back.
