Welcome was 2nd to none. Atmosphere was marred with a continually screeching child. Partner was pleased with his meal. I not so, chose chicken and mushroom pie and I could find 2 small pieces of chicken. If we go again I will probably opt for pizza. This was t... read more We have been to The Lord Clyde on a number of occasions, and have always been impressed by the quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff. This was the first time we had been for Sunday lunch. We ordered a range of starters, mains and desserts, and every course was delicious. The roast beef just melted in the mouth, and the Yorkshire puddings were huge; we were even supplied with extra gravy. The ambience was perfect. We paid just under £30 per head for three courses, alcohol and coffee, which is great value considering the quality of the food. Thanks very much for another great dining experience in Cheshire's finest restaurant.

Make sure you book well in advance to avoid disappointment.
