Great people there! Lots of friendly faces even if you go there by yourself.
Authentic Portuguese maritime atmosphere. Despite being tucked away in a side passage rather than in a main avenue, this spot was easy to find. The moment you enter, you're transported into macau's Portuguese maritime heritage through exceptional decor featuring vintage ship models, historical maps of Macau roads,wine bottles lining wooden shelves, nautical memorabilia, and Portuguese cultural artifacts. The quiet, intimate setting provided a peaceful eating experience without background music that I can remember, allowing conversation to flow naturally. The staff was attentive and professional. Ordered two steaks that were perfectly prepared, accompanied by well presented sides with appropriate portions and excellent seasoning. The standout was the lychee mocktail, exceptionally crafted with fresh authentic flavors that captured the tropical essence. At HKD 650 for steaks, beverages and additional dishes, the pricing felt fair and justified given the quality of food, unique atmosphere and prime location near major tourist attractions. Loved it. Open in the morning. Great selection of global Portuguese and non-Chinese food. Great coffee. Lovely authentic interior with pictures and historical artefacts. Good Portuguese wines selection. Convenient location. Shame it is a bit hidden away off the Main Street. But definitely worth keep your eyes open to not miss them. We had pancakes and a toast for breakfast here. Made from scratch and really good flavour.
