I turned up at 1615h hungry and exhausted with lacerated shins after getting lost on a 30km hike and it was like arriving in heaven They served me a substantial lunch that went on till almost 1800h. Look on and learn all you clock-watching Frenchies ....... THAT is what real customer service looks like!!!!!

We shared a simple salad and pan tomate with serrano ham to start and had wild boar stew for main. Wine (local sauvignon/temperanillo blend) 2012 was perfect. Portions are generous and prices very reasonable. Excellent covid protocols and practices. Service is efficient and friendly. Restaurant quickly filled up from 1230 arrival on a Friday. Not surprising.

We were really fortunate to arrive just after midday and had a table on the terrace overlooking the hills. The view is amazing. The food is brilliant. Nothing fancy but beautifully cooked. I had the lamb and my husband chose the wild boar. Both were delicious. Arrive early for a seat. The bill was very reasonable and you will not go home hungry. Will definitely go again

We always have the lamb chops, chips, green salad with alioli and ice cold spanish beer. its simply one of our favourite meals anywhere in the world. Summer on the terrace, in the shade is best My only hesitation in posting this review is that you might decide to visit and make the place too busy!

It is mainly... read more In the mountains in the middle of nowhere we spent a wonderful lunchtime at this restaurant. The food is simple but well cooked and very plentiful. It is mainly meat steaks, wild boar, lamb, chicken all served with an aioli that is mainly pure garlic. Wine was very reasonable and recommended. Arrive early as the restaurant fills up very quickly and when we left at 2 pm they were queuing out the doors. Summer on the terrace is great with wonderful views over the mountains. It is great value too
