Lakeside Cafe - Mabank

Very delicious breakfast/lunch. Sundays are super busy, but we have our drinks fast enough. Our server was so friendly. Make sure they actually have an indoor smoking area, but they have blower openings, it didn't disturb me at all. Fun fact, they melted butter on the tables in mustard bottles! A plus for oatmeal or grits. My eggs were boiled exactly to order the broken cookies were delicious. You really know how to make a big glass of Southern Sweet Tea. I'd just stop it. I definitely go back when I visit the area.

I love it there. You can have everything you want. If you want breakfast and coffee, you have it. Yes. If you need to get out of the house, you can go here for drinks and a game with pool. The food and service were excellent, and I enjoyed the local atmosphere. They have a smoking and non-smoking area.

The food is absolutely wonderful. However, you could use a slightly more friendly waiting staff and need to update their online hours. Because of everything. The hours are wrong, so if you want to go, and try to enjoy the wonderful food they serve, you may be hungry, and disappointed. Very sad. And they're not exactly polite when they tell you they're closed 5 minutes ago. Also a lot of SAD and FRUSTRATING.

Pam was our waitress and she was wonderful. I had the salmon and one end was very thick and one end very thin. So there was no way to cook it where it would be flakey. Good was great otherwise.
