Cafe De Lanteern B.v. Maastricht

The first time in maastricht and we were looking for a place to eat a long walk around the city something refreshing. we found this beautiful traditional place full of trees and cozy cafe bar restaurants. we choose by chance. we ordered 2 smoothies, 1 sampi pasta and 1 salad with goat cheese and salmon. the smoothies were really beautiful and fresh. eating was really amazing and super delicious. the salat was something unexpected, it was full of fresh vegetables and it had 2 large pieces goat cheese in salmon baked in the many. the scampi pasta was really delicious and fresh. the pasta and the garnels were very well cooked. besides the garnels it had also pieces of baked carrots, wobbles, cherry tomatoes and garlic. there was an amazing balance between the aromes. both parts were large and a good value for money. the service was really friendly and fast, regardless that the place was busy and packed. I'll beat this place 100% and they won't regret it!

Food is epic. Very impressed! Service is a little slow but friendly, the bathrooms are on the top floor which was a little frustrating with a baby. The decor is amazing and did I mention how good the food is!

Very nice place, I saw the final of the Euro cup there and the people working there were very nice, the food is good, the drinks are amazing and the ambient as well, I Love Rogerio give him a higher wage

Good food. However, it took an hour, from ordering, to receive simple lunch of burgers and kroketten. Staff asked if everything was to satisfaction only after 45 minutes of waiting and 'forgot ' a request for a glass of tap water.

Great salads. Very friendly service. Well worth a visit. Reasonable prices too
