Aswar Al Balad - Ma'an

One the greatest restaurants in town, very fair prices, tasty local Jordanian food, great view, calm place, very kindly stuff, and so generous owner, I'm gonna come here again, thanks Ahmed and his great uncle Zaid and his cute son Tariq, you made my day guys

Fantastic place. Me and my wife were lucky to find this after a 17km walk around Petra. Glad we visited, the menu was simple but the great quality and quantity of the food was matched by the exceptional friendliness of the guys working there. Lots of extras provided beyond the price of the meal (tea, water, yoghurt). If I lived in the area I'd be a regular visitor. Well done guys!

Very good Mandi (Yemen dishes) restaurant, price is excellent and the quality is acceptable We went 7 guys and ordered with total bill around 26 JD Recommend if you in Petra to walk up there very much cheaper than the tourist area

A small restaurant on the 1st floor with simple deco. Lunch in the place and overall was ok. There were 4 chicken with rice dishes on the menu with price JOD7 (including yogurt and water). Relatively cheap in the area. The taste of the dishes was ok but one of the dishes (chicken with spicy rice), the chicken was a bit cold when it served. The staffs were very nice.

Very nice place, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Mains are for JOD7 and hummus is JOD2 and the portion are large! Totally recommend!
