The Henny's is fantastic . Ambience great, Essen mega, staff is always present, super sympathetic and pleasant . I think the most beautiful and best restaurant that Hamburg has to offer at the moment. View all feedback.
What Alex doesn't like about Restaurant Küchenwerkstatt:
I love the kitchen of Henny and for this reason we wanted to enjoy the evening on Valentine's Day. We learned that you can always go to Hennys but not to special events or events. Holidays. The food was also very good this evening, even excellent for the skin. A great praise to the chef! We sat at the top of the window, right above the entrance. The place was nice but the waiter assigned to us was really a pure disas... View all feedback.
Table at waiting half an hour Next to the entry with jackets and no Bar seat, unfriendly Service, Not the table We’re asking for, reserved for four pax and get a table for pax
I can highly recommend Henny‘s. I always like to eat fish or sushi there. Today it was sushi. Very, very tasty. Almost like in the GO from Henssler. Service and atmosphere are great. You just feel good here. Tonight there was a huge surplus of men, but also a birthday party full of girls. The restaurant is somehow for everyone who pays attention to an appealing ambience. Today on Wednesday the restaurant was fully booked. It is therefore always advisable to reserve a table. When it's too crowded, like tonight, it gets quite tight and the noise level rises. The Henny‘s has been a nice addition to Hamburg for years
Never on a Saturday. The table that was ordered early had not been reserved, which was initially confessed to OpenTable. I didn't accept that, then they told the truth afterwards. A preliminary information about it would have been nice. But the food wasn't good at all. The Angus fillet, the dish on the menu, consisted of an end piece, half flat and dry, even though the birthday had been pointed out. With the veal schnitzel, the breading lay loosely on the meat, and the bad food is heavily devalued. I've been to Henny's a couple of times during the week, and I was thrilled despite the insane volume on site. For the time being, I'm going to distance myself from this place
I love Henny's kitchen and that's why we wanted to enjoy the evening there on Valentine's Day. We learned that you can always eat at Hennys, but not for special events or holidays. The food was very good that evening too, and the skin was even excellent. Kudos to the chef. We sat upstairs by the window, just above the entrance. The place was nice but the waiter assigned to us was really a catastrophe! I can empathize that there was a lot to do that evening, but if you are only served as a guest when you draw attention to yourself with a show of hands, then unfortunately that has nothing to do with service. And unfortunately this bad service dragged on through the whole evening
Unfortunately, the food did not meet the requirements, service and ambience. The pumpkin cream soup too sweet and intense, the pikeperch quite dry. He also came with the sauerkraut mixed in bacon cubes, which was not mentioned on the menu. Bad for diners who don't eat meat. The substitute in the form of a spinach side dish consisted largely of coarsely chopped onions and was very garlic-heavy (neither mentioned on the menu). The service was extremely attentive, friendly and brisk; We like the ambience very much, so we will continue to visit Henny's. In addition, the food was much better on our first visit some time ago ... maybe the kitchen had a bad day, it can happen ...
