The cod and chips were freshly cooked as soon as we ordered them and were really delicious. The service was excellent. We later came back for some Kelly's ice creams, which we enjoyed while sitting on one of the benches along the promenade. This place is highly recommended for eating and refreshments while visiting St. Anne Beach. View all feedback.
What Helena Harrison doesn't like about Cafe On The Pier:
Group of us tried here (1st last time) for lunch. I ordered regular sized chips and curry sauce... over priced, ridiculously small portion of chips that were luke warm and the curry sauce was so watered down it tasted of nothing. Others had no better luck with cod and chips. Wafer thin piece of fish that was oily and tasted bland with again warm chips. Wish we'd read the reviews first. I'd give it a miss if I were yo... We frequently visited the Takeaway counter at Café during the fall and early winter when restrictions eased. The service always came with a smile, and the coffee, tea, cakes, and sandwiches were truly delicious and worth the visit. The mint cakes in December were a particular standout! Additionally, I have repurposed some of the cups to grow seeds instead of throwing them away.

Every time I have visited this restaurant this year since May, I have had the fish and chips. They are always freshly cooked and not too heavy on the fish, just the way I like it. I always recommend this place to others.
This place must be visited. eating is not so good. be it fish n chips while they go for a walk on the beach, or sit on Sunday midday. even only a hot chocolate and a cake while protecting themselves from the best British weather. The cakes are incredible, I recommend the foot long éclair. the cafe will also allow dogs in the inner, but please respect others who use the cafe, because not everyone has a love to dogs. parking is available directly in front of the caffe via a pay and display.
Well worth a visit, enjoyed the view through the window looking out to the beach. Service and Staff were very good, and so was the food and drinks. Thanks...
