This charming little pub in Baldwinsville is tucked away off the main road, and I believe it’s part of the golf course, surrounded by trees. I had a delightful meal with friends. My side salad was generously portioned, fresh, and delicious—much better than a small bowl of just lettuce. I ordered the haddock fish sandwich, which was impressively large, perfectly fried, and served on a brioche roll, which was a nice touch. One of my friends had the Reuben and enjoyed it, even though she's not a fan of sauerkraut! Another friend had the half-pound burger, which she also loved.
One of my favorite spots to visit when I'm at my friend's place in Baldwinsville. They make excellent quesadillas, and the prices are reasonable considering the portion sizes. The food is very flavorful!
My brother-in-law placed the order: a couple of burgers, two plates of mild chicken riggies, and rigatoni with meatballs for my 7-year-old nephew. Everything was great! Since I like to take it easy on Thanksgiving, let’s break it down: - The burgers were cooked rare, just as we requested, which shows they have confidence in their meat. They came with fries, as is the law! - The chicken riggies had a generous portion size and included a good amount of peppers, onions, and ample chicken—unlike some places that skimp. The mild version had a bit more flavor towards the bottom, so I recommend giving it a stir when you get home. These dishes also came with small side salads (which were decent) and two garlic knots (also decent; soft but not mushy). - The pasta with meatballs was rigatoni, and my nephew loved it. Sorry, I didn’t ask him if it was al dente! Everything was ready five minutes earlier than promised, and it was packed nicely in quality containers—no leaks to worry about. Honestly, I didn’t expect much from a local spot on the night before a big holiday, but I was pleasantly surprised! Potters Pub is a fantastic place to have in the neighborhood, and it was bustling inside too. A local bar that serves good food with honest, friendly service is definitely something to be thankful for! I’d give it 5 stars.
The food is awesome and the staff is even better!! The NFL pizza special can't wait to get back in town this fall.
Went for lunch yesterday with my friend after walking at beaver lake. It's not really that far from beaver lake but was glad I had gps because I'm not familiar with the back roads. The place wasn't crowded around 1:00 and we were seated promptly. The bartender was also the waitress which is getting more and more prominent. We wanted to sit outside but she warned us the bees have been really bad on the deck so we opted for a high top near the window. We had a good view of the golf course. The menu is pretty extensive but I ordered the Reuben sandwich with fries and my friend the mushroom bacon burger with fries. Both were excellent. For me the Reuben was up there with the best I've had in Syracuse. My friend loved her burger and was cooked perfectly at medium for her. We both had enough for leftovers to bring home. Service was excellent also. We are going back again next Friday we liked it that much!!!
