What Josh Taylor dislikes about The Lyons Dairy:
The experience at the restaurant was a mixed bag. The food left much to be desired, scoring a low 2 out of 5. While it was affordable, priced between $1 and $10 per person, the quality did not meet my expectations. On the positive side, the service was excellent, earning a solid 5 out of 5. A dairy bar should definitely serve ice cream, especially when there's a huge ice cream cone on the sign. It feels ridiculous to have to go to another place, like a candy shop, just to get some ice cream. So, unfortunately, I couldn’t enjoy any today. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
The food took a while. Not gonna lie was starting to get a little irritated. But the food was fantastic and I’m a real snob. A classic burger, kind of like how I imagine the first Macdonalds before it became a chain. So I decided I didn’t want my burger fast after all. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
This place is awesome. Totally a hidden jem in Lyons. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
The experience at the restaurant was a mixed bag. The food left much to be desired, scoring a low 2 out of 5. While it was affordable, priced between $1 and $10 per person, the quality did not meet my expectations. On the positive side, the service was excellent, earning a solid 5 out of 5. The staff was attentive and friendly, which certainly enhanced the overall experience. As for the atmosphere, it was decent, with a score of 3 out of 5; it had a nice vibe but could use some improvements. Overall, while the service was commendable, the lack of quality food is something to consider before visiting again.
At this eatery, diners encounter a blend of highs and lows. While the food often disappoints, with several dishes scoring poorly for flavor and quality, the prices remain accessible, ranging from $1 to $50. Service shines brightly, with attentive and friendly staff consistently earning top marks. The atmosphere offers a casual vibe, though some felt it could benefit from enhancements. Many patrons enjoyed the takeout options, especially ice cream, despite its absence on the menu. Overall, while the service and certain menu items impress, a focus on improving food quality is essential for a more satisfying experience.

The manager working today 3/9/24. Is hostile and very aggressive. Also the manager like to make false ? reports.I left peacefully.
This place is amazing! I try to visit as often as possible. The food tastes fantastic, and their fries are incredibly delicious.
The hand served ice cream is from Boulder's Glacier Ice Cream, so lots of interesting flavors. The service has changed from their outdoor bar to an indoor ordering and outdoor pick up for the hot foods. It's a little funky.
This used to be my favorite stop if I went to Lyons, but I was very disappointed recently. Had to go inside to order. Ordered a root beer float because I like it made with soft serve machine broken. Ice cream didn't seem right maybe too much water on scooper not sure. Will wait for summer and try it again.

This restaurant offers a great variety of food, with friendly staff and a fantastic candy shop next door. Expect a wait of around 10 minutes for your meal, but the hot dogs are definitely worth it. They serve generous portions of fries, and there is outdoor seating available as well.
We stopped in for some ice cream, and it was wonderful! Although they offer burgers and fries as well, we didn’t sample those. Just a heads up: it's strictly takeout, with no indoor seating available. The staff was very pleasant, friendly, and accommodating.
Stopped here for a snack after going to the Rocky Mountain National Park and loved it! We had the swirled soft serve cone and the Lone Star burger with fries. Everything was delicious and prepared to perfection. The service was great and the cashier was very nice. Definitely recommend!
