It's one of my favorite places for lunch when I work. food is tasty, simple, healthy and varied, and quite a copyful unlike much velvety rest. no unnecessary and too licky decor, it's spacious, pleasant, I feel good. we are well served and can be transported in a much more ecological pre-container than usual scary plastic barrels!
We called to the soline for our daughter's baptism, so that we let our loved ones discover that vegetarian cuisine could be rich to be tasty: it was a failure! After having beaten for the quote and the various options, we had the pleasure to discover the day I a pretty buffet installed to us very pro. Unfortunately, the entrances were frades and dry, or little worked (such as spring rolls composed of isolated vegetable lamelles), the main dish was disappointing (tofu marinated in the skewer without flavor, curry of the vegetables acquired and shocked by coconut milk), only that we are looking to favor vegetarian/vegan restaurants, we can go back to the place, but we will not entrust our neighbors.
Too expensive for what it is. in self/cantine/collective cooking mode. a small plate of vegetables cooked with water, without spices and tasteless with a tomato juice for 15€. It really doesn't.
(Sorry to write in English! What I liked most was the choice of vegan cakes and pastries, with good portion sizes. The chocolate pear tart I had was delicious and I can't wait to return to try the others. (It would be helpful to label these in the display cabinet . I had a stew which would be good for meat-eaters as the texture and colour was very similar to meat. My only problem with the main course was that the plates weren't heated so it got cold very quickly and the optional slice of bread was very dry. The main course and the dessert together came to €15, a little bit expensive for students, so I can't come here too often. This restaurant has a very casual atmosphere and the service is very fast as it is like a canteen, with the food served in front of you. The staff were also very friendly but I think the atmosphere and ambience/ lighting could be made a lot cosier; I felt a bit like I was in a primary school canteen! Another thing I would recommend that the company do is provide hair-nets for the chefs; all the kitchen staff who I saw passing through were only wearing head-scarves which is very off-putting in terms of hygiene (the last restaurant I went to where the chefs wore head-scarves but no hair-nets, I found a hair in my food! . Overall, I really admire what this restaurant is doing in terms of providing delicious/ fast vegan food.
I went for lunch one day and the restaurant was so crowded! This is a good sign. The food was super yummy, the soup was amazing, the homemade hot sauce was perfect, and for dessert I had cheesecake! Almost everything was gluten free which is perfect because I'm allergic. I highly recommend Soline.
