A bit unpretentious on the exterior, the interior is beautifully tiled and represents the style and culture of Algeria, the home country of the owner's wife and the kitchen workers. The owner was our server. He was very attentive and helpful, speaking English to us to explain the many options. We shared the veal shank couscous, followed by creme brulee. The taste was authentic and plentiful. The total was pleasantly only 39.5E. This is a restaurant you should not miss while in Lyon.

We enjoyed extremely quick and friendly service, delivering nicely spiced and authentic dishes. We ordered two tasty brick appetizers, each accompanied by a fresh side salad. We also savored the chicken tagine and merguez couscous dishes. The meal was so satisfying, we didn't have room for dessert. We found the pricing of the food and beverages to be very reasonable. Thoroughly recommended, we would recommend Oh Couscous to our friends.
