From the outside and the decor this seemed like any other trendy bar, which it is, however, they have great craft beers, knowledgable and friendly staff and good pub grub. Also do a free taster of 3 of their beers, was rather nice too.
Seated at a slab counter at the window with little patience to wait - I was pleased with responsive and cheerful service, but this location was packed to capacity and extremely noisy that Saturday night. My smaller than expected burger was dwarfed by the bun. Choices of beer were plentiful - meeting my expectations as it is the same Ninkasi brewer based in Oregon, USA.
We were the only patrons that Sunday noon so the service was fast if slightly disinterested. For a bar to not have red wine however, was a bit disappointing to say the least. The food was OK, expensive for what it was though (smoked salmon salad - 95% leaves).
At the age of 25, I thought I knew fun but Kenji made me understand that it was nothing compared to the half-chill, half-excited, half-hype, half-comforting atmosphere that he generates when serving his beers. Updated tier list of the best moments of my life: 3- my meeting with my girlfriend 2- Barça-Manchester LDC final 2011 1- My gin-to served by Kenji “Life is like a bicycle, you have to move forward so as not to lose your balance.” Kenji doesn't lose his balance, the pints move after I'm going to the banker tomorrow I want to buy an apartment above Ninkasi Cordeliers, I hope I have the kidneys Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Beautiful house, françois is a host who will come to speak to you and it is pleasant. beer is a very special mention for the lemon rum shooter that deserves a very good mention. many choices of burgers that will be better than in many other restaurants offering burgers to some ready excavations. However, no fan of bread and charcuterie boards that costs a star, but ratio quality price very well. 2 beers a squirrel with fries 36, 50 euros.
