Room pictures not representative of actual rooms Beware I would like to address a formal complaint regarding my latest stay at Maison No hotel Lyon on 7 8 Janua... read more Room pictures not representative of actual rooms Beware I would like to address a formal complaint regarding my latest stay at Maison No hotel Lyon on 7 8 January I booked a ‘standard room’ based on illustration pictures showing a room with a proper size window located next to bed. As there was also another room option so called ’without Daylight’, I was confident that booking this one would let me enjoy a quite decent space with decent opening to the outside. However when I checked in I was allocated a room where the window was extremely small and located in an impossible place, at a remote and fully obstructed location in a side corner and very high up making the room completely blind see pictures I took I complained immediately to hotel staff but they told me they were full and unable to give me another room with proper window and daylight, even though I complained that the room did absolutely not reflect what I had booked.

Upon arrival, we were met by an incredibly helpful chap at reception who went above and beyond.
