Steak frites done well and made fun A brother to the famous L'Entrecôte de Paris. Very similar but different enough to merit going to both if possible. The wait and offerings are the same, sirloin steak and great frites. The sauce recipes are close but not the same. Both are good and secret. The decor is colorful and fun. The service is efficient and friendly. The word Entrecôte means ribeye but the steak is faux-filet which is sirloin. I think L’Entrecôte in Paris serves ribeye. Both are good meat. Highly recommended.

Excellent choice for eating an authentic Entrecôte in Lyon! There is only one food choice at this restaurant: Entrecôte in mustard sauce with fries. Lots of fries! All you can eat fries! Surely the meat is finite, but fries comes to your plate as much as you want! Nice house wines (côte du rhone) and other labels as well! Highly recommend! Get there early, because there always a line and don't take reservations!

L'Entrecôte is known for its set menu at €23 (salad and meat unlimited fries). There are never any surprises because the dishes are standard. The service can sometimes be slow (it takes a while to get fries with your meat or to get a second helping of fries). To queue, everyone at your table must be present; otherwise, you'll have to wait for the last person to join your meal. Arriving around 1:30 pm, it's much smoother for lunch. Otherwise, the atmosphere is lively because it's busy, but not overly crowded. Also good to know: L'Entrecôte doesn't take reservations, and there's no parking (the nearest paid parking lot is 300 meters away). It's best to arrive at 7:30 pm, otherwise, you might find yourself queuing...outside. Not really suitable for children or people with reduced mobility.

The staff was very welcoming and the service was very fast. There was only one set menu option. The meat was quite thin and the sauce very, very greasy (not really to my taste as it had no flavor). You could get unlimited fries if the server was nearby. However, the fries weren't very good (too thin). For me, considering the price and the wait outside, it wasn't really worth it.

We'd heard about this restaurant in Lyon for a while, so we decided to try it. The service was impeccable: the staff was welcoming and attentive. As for the food, the meat was very good and the homemade fries were a nice touch. Our only slight reservation concerned the main course, which we found a bit too greasy, especially the sauce.
