The coffee and interior of this cafe are both lovely. However, I found the waitresses quite cold and rude on the three occasions I have visited this place and will not return for that reason. As someone who has worked in hospitality for years, manners is by far the most important skill (if you can even call it a skill) anyone can have in the industry. It is the bare minimum of service. Le Florian is a cozy, elegant cocktail bar near the center of Vieux Lyon. My husband and I visited 2-3 times during our visit to Lyon and enjoyed every cocktail that we had there. They have a good mix of indoor and outdoor seating, so it's a nice destination whether you want to escape the crowds or enjoy a well-made drink while people-watching.
