Well selected wine list that paired well with their cuisine.

We both had the giant ravioli (one pice) with meat and foie gras for starter, and it was really good, as was the bread also. Very small amounts of foie gras, though. We had the scallop risotto for main course, five large delicious scallops in an out of this world tasty risotto. BUT! We did not like the wines and also found them quite expensive. We tried a large pichet (46 cL, 22€) of Cotes du Rhone, and it was not good. Optimistic as we were, we tried a white wine for the scallops. Again same amount and price. However, this white wine was really not good, we both had associations to mosquito repellent. So no matter how good the food was, I cannot rate more than 3 TripAdvisor stars due to the bad experiences with the wines. I tried to tell the waiter (in a quite ok French actually) that we did not like the white wine, but he did not really care...

It's an intimate affair with a small team that is very attentive to its guests.I had the smoked haddock entree, followed by the veal (so tender) and then the brioche with caramelised bananas for desert. All courses were well presented and delicious.I will certainly book next time as I'm not sure I will be so lucky next time.

A very good selection of great (and affordable) wines. The service was excellent (the waiter speaks English). Last but not least: you can see the chef in action!

Food was excellent at prices that I did not think were too expensive although the wine was perhaps a little pricy for our tastes, but by the glass was sufficient. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Excellent service, warm welcome, kitchen worthy of a starry with tasteful and neat dishes, all accompanied by good wine for a more than reasonable addition. I strongly advise, if you're looking for a restaurant at the height of the reputation of French gastronomy, it would be a shame to miss this excellent address. Get your eyes closed!!
