What about that night at Danton? Excellent service, warm welcome, kitchen worthy of a starry with tasteful and neat dishes, all accompanied by good wine for a more than reasonable addition. I strongly advise, if you're looking for a restaurant at the height of the reputation of French gastronomy, it would be a shame to miss this excellent address. Get your eyes closed!!

We spent a very pleasant evening in this restaurant on a Monday night when many other resto's in Lyon were closed, and it was worth the effort. Food was excellent at prices that I did not think were too expensive although the wine was perhaps a little pricy for our tastes, but by the glass was sufficient. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

You simply can’t go wrong with this place…it’s small and doesn’t look fancy, but the chef is simply first class and deserves to do well. Don’t hesitate and try for yourself Bravo chef

We had a wonderful diner with friends (Americans and Russians). Being four, we tried all starters and main courses on their very attractive menu (French cuisine): everything was just delicious and plates perfectly decorated. A very good selection of great (and affordable) wines. The service was excellent (the waiter speaks English). Last but not least: you can see the chef in action!

While the food is good and worthy of a Bib I thought it was quite expensive for what was delivered, two rabbit terrines a chicken dish and a pork dish , both mains were quite small portions and for a two course formula at 30 euros each, its up there. The wine also was 30

Excellent small French brasserie type restaurant thoroughly enjoyed my meal. Only a short walk from the main Station (Lyon Part Deux and the hotels in that locality. I visited on the back of the TripAdvisor reviews, and wasn't disappointed. Relatively simple menu that allows you to pay for one plate two courses three courses, and simple menu (I expect frequently changes with three choices of starter main dessert (or cheese . I had a delicious rabbit starter, and a slow cooked pork main course which was delicious meat fell apart in rich sauce. I chose cheese for dessert lovely. The person serving was excellent, friendly, helped to explain the meal (in English after we gave up with my poor attempts at French , and also helped with a local red wine (very good and inexpensive . (Good luck with your motorbike test!! In total: 3 courses, water, wine 66 euros Thoroughly recommended.

I recently spent two weeks in Europe visiting 10 cities, eating out everyday, and I must say this was the best dinner I had during that two weeks!__I always

We stopped by for lunch in this small bistrot. I would describe their cooking as "traditional with a modern twist." Excellent service and outstanding food. Well selected wine list that paired well with their cuisine.

Small, very French place, super nice but do not expect the waiter to speak any English! We both had the giant ravioli (one pice) with meat and foie gras for starter, and it was really good, as was the bread also. Very small amounts of foie gras, though. We had the scallop risotto for main course, five large delicious scallops in an out of this world tasty risotto. BUT! We did not like the wines and also found them quite expensive. We tried a large pichet (46 cL, 22€) of Cotes du Rhone, and it was not good. Optimistic as we were, we tried a white wine for the scallops. Again same amount and price. However, this white wine was really not good, we both had associations to mosquito repellent. So no matter how good the food was, I cannot rate more than 3 TripAdvisor stars due to the bad experiences with the wines. I tried to tell the waiter (in a quite ok French actually) that we did not like the white wine, but he did not really care...
