Lovely lunch menu sitting outside. We walked past this place at first because the outside area was small, then we noticed that the people eating were all locals. On asking them what the food was like they immediately said it was the best in the area, especially the desserts. If in the area do try this restaurant, you will be pleased with the quality of the food and its reasonable price. Then, if you go inside and vis... View all feedback.
What einSteinLyon doesn't like about Cuisines Et Dépendances Acte Ii:
We have been in the restaurant last friday and we were a little bit astonished about the difference of the quality and gadget between act 1 and act 2. The price level is the same. The service is correct and friendly but for us a little bit to snobinard The decoration is nice but a little bit View all feedback.
Greeted by the chef himself who made a unique grapefruit cocktail. Best grapefruit apperitif of my life…fresh, floral, just perfect. Tasting menu was perfect every ingredient was elevated. Our first Lyon so expectations were high and exceeded. Merci Chef!!
This is a Michelin one star restaurant so do expect it not be very cheap comparing to some other Bouchon places. We booked a last minute Friday night dinner that morning off The Fork after looking into several restaurants that were already full. Each dish is around 30 Euro depending on the ingredients. The restaurant served house pumpkin soup that was very rich and fresh. I wish they had brought out a big bowl of it! I had the fish with polenta while my companion had the special of the day which was scallops with risotto. Both were wonderful and spot on. The seafood fresh, flavorful, and not over cooked. We also got soufflé with blueberries that is just the perfect ending. The bill for 2 people was less than 100Euros. By the way, Fabrice Bonnot was the host, server, and chef of the evening. I was a little taken back upon seeing him since I had not expect it at all. The menu is all in French so I was trying to use online translation but you can definitely ask the staff to make suggestion.
This restaurant is horrible. The food is borderline inedible. It is overcooked, ingredients are really badly paired in a way that just taste bad. The decor is truly weird with the chefs face all over the dining room. Be careful of his trick of insisting you order dessert with your starter. Avoid this place
We booked this restaurant spontaneously but it exceeded our expectations. It is exactly what can be called as Haute cuisine in its nature delicious, fast, friendly service and value for money. It is not the cheap restaurant, but we know what we paid for and paid without any regret. It is recommended for all who would like to enjoy the kitchen.
I made a reservation for lunch through The Fork which was confirmed via e-mail. When I arrived for lunch the restaurant was closed. Very dissapointed!
