We had spent the day driving and a few hours trying to drive in the city center of Lyon and were exhausted. Our hotel recommended a different brasserie other than this one but we couldn't find their recommendation so chose Cafe des Vosges. It was a bit late so they weren't very busy and offered a menu with a lot of variety. I don't remember what my companion ate but I ordered a Lamb Shank with veggies and a small sal... What হাসান তাসনীম doesn't like about Cafe des Vosges:
Between trains in Lyon. Step outside the station and gaze upon a plaza lined with restaurants. We chose this one during a busy lunch hour and were pleasantly surprised. Three couples were quickly seated and served. Cold beer, followed by croque monsieurs. basically a toasted ham and cheese sandwich on French bread. Very tasty. Great service from Sandra, and we made our connection with time to spare. View all feedback.
We came on the train to Lyon Part Dieu and were here for a lunch. The terrace is very nice and our waiter Clément was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The salad for vegetarians is available from the carnivore version without any problems, bearing in mind, that you will pay the full price. The vegetarian menu is still quite rare in this area. The salmon with tortellini and ratatouille was excellent and Mâcon Villages de Duboeuf suited perfectly.Good place to eat.
Great place to sit down order, enjoy and chat. Friendly staff and also fluent in English, clean toilets and very good food.
Zabojad Exploring France is deligthed of it's numerous stay in Lyon. A wonderful City to discover and starting from the Part Dieu train Station. The Café des Vosges offers traditionnal dishes such as Lamb with green beans, exotic salads. Zabojad was delighted to enjoy a nice dinner and lunch on the terasse once more in 2015. We ate at this cafe waiting for our train and it was beyond bad. The 23 euro entrecôte was all fat and overcooked. The worst meal we ate in Lyon. When the waitress asked how our meal was I said the meat was terrible and she just walked away. Go to Paul and get a sandwich in the station and avoid such a rip-off
The hot chocolate was quite good but the service was not friendly at all and we didn't feel welcome. Furthermore hot drinks are more expensive after 3pm. (And the basic price was already not cheap)
