We were looking for a snack and ended up with an excellent meal! After visiting the museum next door, we came here for lunch. The waiters were attentive and the setting was relaxing. My partner had the ceviche as a starter and then we both had the ravioli with prawns. The food was very good and presented attractively. View all feedback.
What FreddyNeitsche doesn't like about Brasserie Des Confluences:
After an extremely poor experience in the musuem we decied to eat in the Brasserie.. From the outside it looks inviting.. The inside is not quite so interesting... It's clean, but almost sterile in it's presentation with Ikea like quality tables and chairs.. The menu is relatively limited, which is usually a good sign but here it lacks imagination.. The plates were reasonably well presented but you'll find nothing un... View all feedback.
In the whole everything was good, but my main dish was frankly nothing extraordinary. On the other hand, we spent a very good time, the frame is exceptional.
We took advantage of the museum visit to book a table in this museum restaurant. We thus benefited from free parking under the restaurant and museum. It’s a good restaurant, we took the menu of the day. impeccable service.
Went here twice fore lunch as we liked it so much the first time. Their 22 euro set lunch is excellent and the setting superb. If you visit the museum, you might not even know this existed as its sort of underneath and at the back but it has views of the water pool and there is a quiet professional relaxed atmosphere, white table linen, efficient staff and we had a very good time. Bread is a small detail but lovely, we had a whole fresh baked loaf on the table one day and ficelles the next. Terrine, beautiful beef tartare, excellent cafe gourmand. Well worth seeking out as there’s surprisingly little else within walking distance of the museum.
Went for lunch after a visit to the museum. Staff brought us menus in English when they saw we were struggling in French. I had the duck with poached pear and mushrooms which was delicious. My veggie husband had the only 2 items on the menu he could eat: an asparagus entree and a cheese selection. Sadly no vegetarian mains and the only reason this review isnt 'very good '. Service was faultless. Nice atmosphere, clean and not touristy despite its location.
