The fragrants that greeted us when we went in the door, without a lunch reservation, assured us that this place will be special. No one was there when we came in, but it didn't take long, and the prospect of the Roman amphitheater was also inviting.
They eat here late on a Saturday night. small restaurant and we were upstairs. nothing but admiration for the waitress who went up and down the stairs that sorted our parties and others command. the food was excellent, although the fish of my wife were not the best she ever had. not cheap, but pleasant.
They had me at their name. seriously, a restaurant with the name of salinger’s book is a must for me. that's why I was interested and I wasn't disappointed. I had the daily lunch menu that was delicious, and I was very enchanted by. the friendly and cozy atmosphere, too. I would be back at any time.
My daughter and I had a memorable visit to a restaurant in the lower part of Lyon’s Bohemian district. We enjoyed a cozy setting on the steps, though there are also many inviting places to sit both inside and outside. All the ingredients are fresh and local, which makes every dish stand out. Our pâté croûte maison was just perfect — packed with herbs and spices, with the meat cooked to perfection. We also tasted mussels in a rich, slightly spicy ’nduja sauce, which added a wonderful kick and was simply delicious. The restaurant is owned and run by a young man and his wife. He comes from Beaujolais, so don’t miss the chance to ask about wines from his family’s vineyard! There is also an excellent selection of wines by the bottle, making it easy to find something that pairs beautifully with the food. Personally, I am very fond of places where you can truly feel the passion behind what they do. This one captured me completely — it became my place!
