We had never tried ethiopian food before, so we got the mixed veggie dish for 2 and loved it! Plenty of flavours and a touch of spice. We barely finished it all, it was so much food (so go woth an empty belly). We also had the samosas which were some of the best I ever tried! What Varun J doesn't like about Asmara:
Hard avoid for me. You book a table via TheFork, they confirm the reservation. The next day, you go there on time and the restaurant is full, no tables available. They asked me to wait for 30 minutes even after I had a reservation. Zero regards for professionalism. Ofcourse I left. View all feedback.
Great discovery! typical delicious cuisine, very good service! Let's go back.
What a place! Everything is executed to perfection. The mysterious mesob are the star of the restaurant. Inside they hidden an artistically arranged set of small dishes, which, like any rightful food, you eat them with your hands. For first timers, like most of us, you have the option to try a bit of everything. Nothing will disappoint you. Its ridiculous not to come here at least once.
Authentic Eritrean cuisine, spicy and tasty. selection of Ethiopian beer and wein.
Small family restaurant where the welcome is hot and the kitchen is amazing!
