This is a good Whole Foods location. I went to this Whole Foods location to use the Amazon return section, and return an item. The return process literally took less than one minute, and I was refunded the money that evening. I highly recommend this Whole Foods location, if you need to do an Amazon return. View all feedback.
What Lisa W doesn't like about Market Cocina:
Scanty selection of organics, poor selection of 100% grass fed beef using the term 'pasture raised ' for grain finished beef unknowing customers yet again do not understand what the labels really mean. The grocery packer put my tomatoes and cilantro under wine bottles. Not going back View all feedback.
I honestly enjoyed their dishes and service, good location close to my home. The staff members are always very nice. Would recommend to others.
Where did you move to? You made the best vegetarian Burrito with apples I've every eaten.
PLEASE READ IF YOU CARE ABOUT LA RAZA/BARCELONA CUISINE: Juan 's restaurant is no longer at this residence. This new place Falafel House has no ties to the previous restaurant and they claim to not have any information about Juan which I found strange. I talked to the woman at the consignment shop next door and she gave me Juan 's number and told me what happened. Hopefully we can find a way to get La Raza/Barcelona back. If I get any more information I will update my review. This place used to be called La Raza. I 'm not sure why the name changed, but shortly after they also started offering Greek food along with their Mexican food. I haven 't had any of the Greek food, but I 'm addicted to their chicken tacos. The ingredients always taste fresh, and their tortilla chips are THE BEST TORTILLA CHIPS I 've ever had. I 'm not sure if they are hand made, but they don 't give you a ton so that makes me think they are. I 've taken many different people here and they 've all loved their meals. Most of my friends order the burritos. The sauces are hand made, and there 's a really yummy mango habanero sauce which I 've never found another sauce to beat it as far as flavor goes. Yes waitstaff are not traditional there. It is family owned and they run it a bit differently than a normal restaurant. Because I am a regular there, I seat myself after I say hello and I grab a menu on the way to my seat. The process of ordering is essentially you tell them what you want and they will bring it. The owner is the head chef, and I heard that he used to be a chef in Mexico. He or his son/brother/nephew/family member (I 'm not sure their relation) will take your order very nonchalantly. Prices are not that expensive at all. I usually leave a nice tip because I feel like a criminal eating their delicious food for such a low price Overall, I really love this place and hope it stays in business forever.
This was our go-to Mexican food place until about 11-10-19, when it went falafel/vegetarian with a different owner/staff. We will miss Juan and his incredible mole, Mr Famous and best of all, his refried beans the best we've ever had. Many sad faces in our crowd these days.
My family stopped by for a late lunch, this was our 3rd visit and so far we've really enjoyed the food. Half our group ordered from the Mediterranean side of the menu and the other half from the mexican side. Nobody was disappointed. My son got a chicken enchilada with a tomatillo sauce along with rice beans. My husband got the beef Shawarma plate and I got a gyro and fries.
