Cabbage Rolls. Good food. Friendly people. Nice to have some 'real deal ' ethnic food for a change. I wish it were closer to Seattle. Try the Hungarian cole slaw. View all feedback.
What Anna Petros doesn't like about Budapest Bistro:
I did an Uber pick up. 17 minutes after uber notified me that my food is ready I was there to pick it up I was there 30 minutes after I ordered the food). When I arrived, the owner wasn’t very friendly. She told me that she’s been waiting for me for a long time and asked me what took me so long. We stopped here for lunch. At lunch they have a more limited menu and can run out of some items. For example today my wife had the last order of Hunter Chicken and it was just before noon. She liked it. I had Wienerschnitzel and also liked it. The dessert case looked interesting. We had good service.
Unrivaled stroganoff! It was absolutely amazing. Watch out, though, multiple entrees can get really pricey, fast. Still, this place is totally recommended!
We just had a wonderful dinner. Great food, wine, and service. I am shocked it is not full every night. An older couple runs the place and it is like revisting grandma's. It felt like home. No menu she has a board on the wall of what she made tonight. The desserts are amazing. Don't delay you must try this place.

A taste of Hungary. It's really hard to find a good stuffed cabbage in Seattle, so I'm grateful that we in Lynnwood have the Budapest Cafe. It's a small, barebones place. However, the folks are nice, and do a great job with traditional Hungarian dishes. They introduced me to spatzle, which is awesome!
