Having been in the Dells for a volleyball tournament, we were tired of lines of people and chain restaurants so decided to drive several miles north on the interstate. Joe 's Diner was worth the little drive. Small town, homey atmosphere with "home cooking "flavor?our breakfast and experience was 5-star worthy! Love Wisconsin small towns! View all feedback.
Great food at awesome little hidden gem about 10 mins from all the lines in the 'Dells. Cute antiques all over the place for sale in an actual reasonably priced store. Friendly service and no crowds! Update: 1 yr later....stopped in at 11:30am (openuntil 2) was turned away because the cook wasn 't taking any more orders because he was too backed up. Too bad, guess we 'll haveto find a new stop. For our trips up north.
The service was excellent, and while the food was satisfactory, the decor was beautiful and made the visit worthwhile.
After spending time in the Dells for a volleyball tournament, we grew weary of long waits and chain restaurants. So, we decided to take a short drive north on the interstate, and Joe's Diner proved to be well worth it. With its small-town charm and a cozy, homey atmosphere, the diner provided a taste of genuine "home cooking." Our breakfast and overall experience were definitely deserving of a 5-star rating! We absolutely love the vibe of Wisconsin's small towns!
Great spot! The antiques create a lovely dining ambiance. I was hoping for homemade corned beef hash, but it turned out to be canned. However, breakfast was served quickly and hot. The staff was friendly, and the prices were reasonable.
Great food, quaint coffee. I loved it.
