The Wellington Arms - Lyndhurst

There are plenty of places to enjoy a Sunday roast these days, but in my experience, the roast at the Wellington Arms is the best. Two of us had the pork, which was delicious (don't forget to ask for the apple sauce!), and one of us had the beef fillet, which was also very good. It’s a bit pricier than a typical lunch, but every penny is worth it. The staff is excellent, too.

The restaurant has a pleasant lounge area for drinks, although it was a bit cool. The main dining room features a warm, roaring wood burner that creates a cozy atmosphere. I've dined here many times, and the food is always on point. The warm welcome and excellent service make the experience even better.

I had a wonderful dining experience here! The pork scratching and cauliflower dish was fantastic. The lamb was cooked to perfection—truly impressive! The sticky toffee pudding with banana ice cream was a unique twist, but it was absolutely delicious! Plus, if you have an electric car, there's even charging available. Overall, it's the ideal spot for a great meal around the area!

Late for a lunch service and personal were amazing, checked that we could be supplied and nothing was too much annoyed. that was great. all facilities very clean. I'm sure you'll be back!

We had a superb Sunday lunch with the family. Food excellent, service superb and the premises are gorgeous. Can’t remember the last time when a meal out scored 10/10 on all fronts !
