Westside Deli - Lynchburg

Looking for a great atmosphere and delicious food? Look no further than Westside Deli, or as I like to call it, Dub SD. This place truly excels in both food and service. I find myself irresistibly drawn to their fries—when I say "pommes," I’m referring to this magical basket of happiness they serve, piping hot and perfectly seasoned. It takes me back to middle school days when I first experienced the joy of a classic burger. Honestly, my only question is whether this place has somehow been blessed with alien technology that allows them to create these incredibly flavorful dishes from the future. I know I’ll be back for another helping of those fries!

Heather was an excellent server—very sweet, friendly, courteous, attentive, and accommodating. Thank you! The chocolate cake was absolutely amazing!

I really enjoyed my experience at this restaurant. The staff was incredibly friendly, and our waitress was both sweet and attentive. I ordered a Philly cheesesteak, which was delicious, though I would have liked a bit more cheese in it. Overall, it's a pleasant spot for a quick sandwich.

After I paid my bill, I received a second one for dessert, which had been overlooked in the original charge. I almost paid it but then remembered that I was charged $20 for my $12 salad. When I pointed this out, they seemed confused and had to recalculate. Then my companion ordered a Reuben sandwich, but it came with fries that he didn't order. When he received the bill, he was incorrectly charged $5 for those fries. When he inquired about this charge, they insisted he had eaten them, which was simply untrue. I couldn't believe it—this is not how things are typically handled in the USA.

This restaurant is a convenient location for an excellent lunch. Everything I've sampled has been outstanding. The service is usually fast and friendly. I definitely plan to come back here.
